The seeds, which are enclosed within a hard shell, are known as the Nuts. The nuts are the usually called seeds of trees. Some seeds belong to other plants, but are not strictly considered as the nuts. Some of them are considered as the nuts due to their high quality culinary uses. Gourmet nuts can be used in many different ways, like grounded nuts and flaked nuts. Gourmet nut butters and gourmet chocolate nuts are also extensively available in almost every country of the world. Classic nuts are vegetarian savory and roasted products. Many chefs provide different recipes that are varied endlessly with the different herbs and seasonings with various blending cereals and nuts. Gourmet fruits and nuts are the part of sweet dishes, cakes and biscuits, whereas nut butters are paired with soups and stews to thicken those giving high values of nutrients.

Gourmet nuts are a tasty and very versatile food that can be enjoyed separately or as an ingredient in recipes such as salads, main dishes and desserts. These nuts taste not only good and add flavor to any recipe, they also add texture and have health benefits. Gourmet nuts can be found in a variety of desserts, including cakes, ice cream, chocolate, fudge, brownies, and snack mixes. There are a large variety of gourmet nuts found around the world including chestnuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, cashews, macadamia nuts, etc. These nuts can be eaten raw, dry roasted, plain or flavored. Gourmet nuts taste great. Their high oil content and protein make them a great source of energy, and they are also a wonderful nutritional source for wildlife.

Almond is the most common type of nuts, eaten allover the world. Almond is produced in California and South Europe. Though, many other countries of the world also contain the almond productions. Almond oil is very useful not only for intake, but also for your body and hair. The Brazil nut is the only one species in the genus Bertholletia, which is local to the Guianas, Venezuela, Brazil, Eastern Colombia, Eastern Peru and Eastern Bolivia. This tree is scarted in large forests on the banks of the Amazon, Rio Negro, and the Orinoco. The genus for Brazil tree is named after the French chemist Claude Louis Berthollet.

In technical meaning, the nut is a dry fruit that has one or two seeds that consolidate upon maturity. These nuts are manufactured by the flowering plants. Though all of these nuts or their other varieties are not suitable for eating, and some of them are not even palatable, but most are eatable. It is also a fact, that all the nuts are not even called nuts. For example, peanuts are not considered as nuts, but a legume. Even favorites like cashews, pistachios, Brazil nuts and almonds are not technically considered as true nuts. We can say that true nuts are the seeds. A nut is in fact a compound ovary that is considered to be the seed as well as the fruit.

Gourmet nuts have a unique taste, and these are good for the health of people. Their high oil contents and other proteins make them a great source of energy. The gourmet nuts are also the most magnificent nutritional source for the wildlife.
